About Note Brokering

Note Brokering helps people who hold a private note turn it into cash without taking the first offer they hear. We take each note to competing buyers, put a partial-purchase option next to the full-sale offers, and send the pricing worksheet with every number.

Why we work this way

Most note holders are handed a single price and no explanation. With nothing to compare it to, they cannot tell whether it is fair. We think you should see more than one offer, see how each was calculated, and have time to decide.

Three things we hold to

  • Show the math. Every offer comes with how it was priced: the balance, the yield and the discount. Our fee is paid on the buyer side and built into the price.
  • More than one bid. You see competing offers, and a partial option when the note supports one.
  • No pressure, ever. Quotes are free and carry no obligation. If keeping your note is the better call, we will say so.

Who we work with

Note holders: people who sold a home, land or a business with owner financing, heirs who inherited a note, and investors with a note or a portfolio to sell. Note buyers: first-time and experienced investors who want to see notes with the file and the numbers attached.

Who you will deal with

Note Brokering was founded by Simon White. A person reads every request and replies to it. You can reach Simon directly at [email protected].

Where to start

If you hold a note, tell us about it. If you buy notes, join the buyer list. If you are still working out what a note is worth, start with what is my note worth.
